This project is a partnership between WLCA, We Energies and Melinda Myers, and is in its 4th year.  We Energies has an Eco Landscape display on the west end of the grounds along 84th Street (see map), and WLCA members have implemented landscape innovations each season.  It's a wonderful opportunity to showcase what WLCA members do to over 100,000 State Fair attendees each year.  Melinda will be giving 2 talks daily during the State Fair (9:30am and 2:00pm), offering gardening tips and answering questions. 
Check it out July 31 - August 10, 2008.

This year's improvements included adding a functioning rain garden, a permeable paver sidewalk, steel edging for easy maintenance, and draught tolerant perennials for summer color.
